| Turmoil has engulfed this website. Due to a long-awaited, enlightening, and historical event, close friends and family members who wouldn't go near this site before have accepted the point I've been beating to death: I hate reading WAY too much to be anti-ANYTHING. Besides: "There are heroes on both sides. Evil is everywhere." So? In addition to trying to sort out and line-edit my own mess ... I get punched and bitten much more frequently. Also, I'm discovering that people other than the Google-oppressed are reading things here. Could we reach even more people with less sarcasm? Should we sacrifice humor, honor, and substance in the name of education? We have plenty of things to add but we're not sure yet how rudely and tastelessly to present them. |
